cutlery 1.0

Publisher Description

I grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, where kids learn knife safety at a young age. I was given my first pocket knife at ten, and learned under the guidance of my father to use it with both caution and skill. For hunting, everyday chores, cooking, and sport, knives are an integral part of the Alaskan lifestyle. Around age 14 I first started coding iPhone apps. I've built apps for pilots, for children who like Pokemon, for large companies, for humanitarian causes, and more. This is the first app I've ever built for myself. Cutlery is an app for the organization of your knife collection and the curation of your knife wish-list. It's an app for those who already know a lot about their knives, but may want to learn yet more - for people who are curious about the various materials - synthetic and organic - shapes, sizes, and specifications of the knives we interact with on a daily basis. It's also an app for those who know almost nothing about knives. By building new hypothetical knives in the app, you can learn about dozens of blade shapes, blade and handle materials, and more. Cutlery was a ton of fun to build and is a ton of fun to use. It is the first app ever built by a knife aficionado for knife aficionados, with attention given to every minutiae of the knife design process. With beautiful, hand-crafted graphics, a cohesive user interface, and a depth of features which continue to reveal themselves over time, cutlery is my best app yet and a testament to my passion for the design, discussion, and collection of quality knives. ------------------------------------------------------- Please note that while this app functions on all iOS devices capable of running the latest iOS operating system, it is optimized to work the best on iPhone 6, 6S, 6+, and 6S+.

Requires iOS 9.3 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
